Brian Charman and Associates, Forestry and Aboriculture courses was established in 1987 Initially offering training for the Forestry Training Council, later FASTCO. Now all training is under the control of LANTRA and assessments are run through the National Proficiency Test Council (NPTC). If you need qualifications and certificates in all typical Forestry machinery and techniques then you have come to the right place. All our instructors are LANTRA registered and most are also NPTC assessors in their field. Our courses are tailored to meet your needs and can be held either on our own training sites or on the customers own site.

The course cost we quote you is inclusive of travel and accommodation. VAT is not applicable to the courses we run.

In addition to the courses we run we also conduct contracting work for direct clients both large and small, domestic and commercial. This serves several purposes, that we need to maintain our own skills and abilities, remaining at the pinnacle of the industry for any new techniques and equipment that comes along. It also allows us to demonstrate techniques and training to course attendees in the actual environment that they will experience. It also allows us to keep course costs down.

The maintenance of Forestry and large tracks of land across the UK over the past 21 years for people like the Forestry Commission and National Trust has necessitated our acquiring additions skill sets which new customer's appreciate. Award wnning dry stone walling, fencing contractors and path laying just to name a few.
